The Ontario Government\u00a0has introduced\u00a0full public reporting on\u00a0nine patient safety indicators as part of a comprehensive plan to create an unprecedented level of transparency in Ontario\u2019s hospitals.<\/p>\n
As of\u00a0September 30, 2008, all Ontario hospitals\u00a0are required to publicly report on C. difficile rates in their facilities through a public website and on each hospital\u2019s own website. These rates are reported on a monthly basis. The remaining indicators are reported as per the chart below.<\/p>\n
