Masquerade Ball<\/u> — Mr. Andr\u00e9 Pommier explained this fundraising event organized by Pommier Jewellers in support of our Centre which will be held on September 22nd<\/sup>, 2018 at the Ramada Inn.\u00a0 The Masquerade Ball will be an event to be remembered where guests are spoiled and pampered.\u00a0 Masks will be available at the doors.<\/p>\n BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES<\/u><\/p>\n Membership Response re 2018-19 Budgets<\/em><\/u> \u2013 Approved by the Members of the Corporation.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em>Membership Response re Annual Meeting Recommendations<\/u> \u2013 All recommendations from the Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors were approved by the Members of the Corporation.<\/p>\n ADMINISTRATION REPORT<\/u> — Mrs. Lafrance-Allaire\u2019s report included PointClickCare\u00ae<\/sup> (PCC) including the following advancements 1) completion of implementation of the electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR)<\/em>; 2) the Centre being the second pilot site in Canada for the Installation of PCC\u2019s Practitioner Engagement Module; 3) PCC\u2019s Secure Conversation Module has been launched; and 4)\u00a0PCC\u2019s Skin and Wound Module has been initiated.<\/p>\n Also covered were:\u00a0 eConsult, gaining a Pharmacy Technician on Site; the Butterfly Care Model (being implemented in Quinn House); Good News Items (notes from bursary winners of 2017-18, feature article of our Residents\u2019 Council in the magazine OARC–Ontario Association of Residents\u2019 Councils–regarding the New Crosswalk); and Census Data.<\/p>\n COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, FINANCE AND PERSONNEL RELATIONS COMMITTEE (CPFPRC<\/u>)<\/p>\n Financial Statements<\/u><\/em> \u2013 A surplus in each operation is forecast for year end.\u00a0 The Board of Directors approved the Financial Statements for the Period Ending 31 July 2018 as<\/em> presented.<\/p>\n Management Fiduciary Statement<\/u><\/em> – The Board of Directors approved the Management Fiduciary Statement for June and July 2018.<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em>Financial Controller<\/u> \u2013 Mr. Troy Lapierre has been promoted to Financial Controller.<\/p>\n GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE<\/u><\/p>\n Executive Compensation Program<\/u> \u2013 Mr. Desnoyers noted that just recently this program was rescinded by the new Provincial Government.\u00a0 Compensation of executives who earn more than $100,000 in hospitals has been frozen for the time being while the Government researches the matter.<\/p>\n Executive Director\u2019s Performance Evaluation<\/u> \u2013 The Board of Directors has completed the online evaluation initiated by Catholic Health International and the results, which were very favourable, have been reviewed by Mr.\u00a0Desnoyers with Mrs.\u00a0Lafrance-Allaire.<\/p>\n EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES<\/u> \u2013 The Centre\u2019s Education Calendar<\/em> for September 2018 and Governance Educational Opportunities were circulated to the Board of Directors for information.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The next regular Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Tuesday, 02 October 2018 at noon in the Boardroom.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors was held on 04 September 2018.
