\nMr. Desnoyers welcomed back Sister Cuddihy to the Board of Directors.<\/p>\n

CORPORATE LIAISON’S REPORT<\/u><\/strong> <\/span>
\nThe Catholic Health Alliance of Canada annual meeting will be held in Montreal in 2020.<\/p>\n

ADMINISTRATION REPORT<\/u><\/strong><\/span> \u2013 Mrs. Lafrance-Allaire’s report included: Hospital Service Accountability Agreement (HSAA) Article 8<\/em> re Form of Compliance Declaration<\/em> (approved and signed) and Critical Incident and Complaint Inspection.\u00a0 Also discussed:<\/p>\n

Corporate Policy Review<\/u> \u2013 The Board of Directors reviewed the Centre’s policies.\u00a0 These were approved by the Board of Directors:
\n-corporate policy #3-a-10 re Complementary Services Offered by Regulated Health Professionals (RHPs) Not Employed by St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre<\/em>
\n-corporate policy #3-a-21 re Research Proposals<\/em>
\n-corporate policy #3-a-92 re Procurement Code of Ethics<\/em><\/p>\n

Good News<\/u> \u2013 A Regional Ethicist will be joining us on 17 September 2019 in order to share the services offered by her organization.\u00a0 The Board of Directors, the Ethics and Mission Committee as well as the Leadership and Partnerships \/ Management Team are all welcome to join.<\/p>\n

ETHICS AND MISSION COMMITTEE<\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nPalliative Care Committee<\/u> \u2013 Palliative Care Awareness Week took place in May.\u00a0 It was a great success that brought a lot of awareness to the Palliative and End-Of-Life Care offered at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre (SJCCC).<\/p>\n

Health Ethics Guide App<\/u> \u2013 There is now a Health Ethics Guide App.\u00a0 The Health Ethics Guide App information was circulated previously.<\/p>\n

St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre’s 50th Anniversary Celebration<\/u> \u2013 St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre is Celebrating it’s 50-year anniversary this October.<\/p>\n

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, FINANCE AND PERSONNEL RELATIONS COMMITTEE (CPFPRC)<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Statements<\/u><\/em> \u2013 The statements were reviewed.\u00a0 The Board of Directors\u00a0approved the\u00a0Financial\u00a0Statements for the period ended 30 June <\/em>& 31 July 2019 <\/em>as presented.
\nInsurance Renewal<\/u> \u2013 The insurance renewal document was previously circulated.\u00a0 The Board of Directors approved the insurance renewal document as presented.<\/p>\n

Management Fiduciary Statement<\/u><\/em> \u2013<\/em> The Board of Directors approved the\u00a0Management Fiduciary Statement for June and July 2019.<\/em><\/p>\n

EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES<\/u><\/strong><\/span> \u2013 The Governance Educational Opportunities were circulated to the Board of Directors for information.<\/p>\n
