\nThe regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors was held on 01 October 2019.<\/p>\n

BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Membership Response re Annual meeting Recommendations<\/u> \u2013 All recommendations from the Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors were approved by the Members of the Corporation.\u00a0 The Board of Directors received written approval.<\/p>\n

ADMINISTRATION REPORT<\/u><\/strong> <\/span>\u2013 Mrs. Lafrance-Allaire’s report included: Complex Medical Management (CMM) Advisory Committee (St. Joseph\u2019s Continuing Care Centre successfully reached the recommendation phase) and Good News Item (St. Joseph\u2019s Continuing Care Centre celebrated Dementia Friends Day). Also discussed:<\/p>\n

Corporate Policy Review<\/u> \u2013 The Board of Directors reviewed the Centre’s policies. The following policies were approved by the Board of Directors:<\/p>\n

-corporate policy #3a-66 re Privacy Breach Management<\/em><\/p>\n

-corporate policy #3-a-67 re Privacy Logging and Auditing<\/em><\/p>\n

-corporate policy #3-a-68 re Privacy and Security Training<\/em><\/p>\n

–<\/em>corporate policy #3-a-70 re Privacy Policy<\/em><\/p>\n

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT (QI) \/ SAFETY COMMITTEE<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Quality Assurance Scorecard 2019-20 (Q1)<\/u> \u2013 The Scorecard was reviewed.<\/p>\n

Concerns and Complaints<\/u> \u2013 Details and explanations will be added to the Concerns and Complaints Report<\/em> every quarter in order to clarify the report.<\/p>\n

Retirement\/RecruitmentQICommittee<\/u> \u2013 Sister Cuddihy agreed to be on the QI Committee.<\/p>\n

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, FINANCE AND PERSONNEL RELATIONS COMMITTEE (CPFPRC)<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Statements<\/u><\/em> \u2013 The statements were reviewed. The Board of Directors\u00a0approved the\u00a0Financial\u00a0Statements for the period ended 31 August 2019 <\/em>as presented.<\/p>\n

Management Fiduciary Statement<\/u><\/em> \u2013<\/em> The Board of Directors approved the\u00a0Management Fiduciary Statement for August 2019.<\/em><\/p>\n

EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES<\/u><\/strong><\/span> \u2013 The Governance Educational Opportunities were circulated to the Board of Directors for information.<\/p>\n
