REPORT FROM THE BOARD<\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nThe regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors was held on 03 March 2020.<\/p>\n

ADMINISTRATION REPORT<\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nMrs. Lafrance-Allaire\u2019s report included Bed Rail Reduction Program Update (currently, 80% of St. Joseph\u2019s Villa is complete), Long-Term Care (LTC) Smart Home Pilot, Annual Report to the Sponsor 2020, Good News Item (new Community Engagement Officer employed) and Census Data.<\/p>\n

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT (QI) \/ SAFETY COMMITTEE <\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nEmployee Survey Results<\/u> \u2013 The employee survey results were reviewed.<\/p>\n

Quality Improvement Plan (QIPs)<\/u> \u2013 The Board of Directors reviewed the Quality Improvement Plans submission report and approved it as presented.<\/p>\n

Policy Revised<\/u> \u2013 Board of Directors policy #2-a-20 re Quality Improvement \/ Safety Committee <\/em>was approved as presented.<\/p>\n

Standing Item:\u00a0 Annual Workplan<\/em><\/u> \u2013 The QI Committee recommended to the Board of Directors a change to the workplan.\u00a0 The Board of Directors approved the revised workplan.<\/p>\n

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, FINANCE AND PERSONNEL RELATIONS COMMITTEE (CPFPRC)<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>
\nFinancial Statements<\/u><\/em> \u2013 The statements were reviewed.\u00a0 The Board of Directors\u00a0approved the\u00a0Financial\u00a0Statements for the period ended 31 January 2020 <\/em>as presented.<\/p>\n

Management Fiduciary Statement<\/u><\/em> \u2013<\/em> The Board of Directors approved the\u00a0Management Fiduciary Statement for January 2020.<\/em><\/p>\n

AUXILIARY REPORT<\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nThe Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be on 19 March 2020.\u00a0 During the AGM, an annual donation to St. Joseph\u2019s Continuing Care Centre will be presented to Mrs. Lafrance-Allaire.<\/p>\n

PROFESSIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE (PAC) REPORT<\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nPolicy Revised<\/u> \u2013 Board of Directors policy #2-a-26 re Professional Advisory Committee <\/em>was approved as presented.<\/p>\n

GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE<\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nEvaluation of the Board Chairperson and Board Committee Chairpersons <\/u>\u2013 Evaluations of the Board Chairperson and Committee Chairpersons will be completed this year.\u00a0 The evaluations will be reviewed\/revised at the next Governance Committee meeting.<\/p>\n

Board Self-Assessment Tool <\/u>\u2013 St. Joseph\u2019s Continuing Care Centre\u2019s Board Self-Assessment tool will be reviewed\/revised at the next Governance Committee meeting.<\/p>\n

Board Skills Matrix<\/u><\/em> \u2013 The Board Skills Matrix<\/em> was reviewed and accepted for information purposes.<\/p>\n

Board \/ Board Committee Member Attendance 2019<\/u><\/em> \u2013 The Board \/ Board Committee Member Attendance 2019<\/em> was reviewed and accepted for information purposes.<\/p>\n
