\nThank you Card from the Varin Family regarding the passing of Ms. Agn<\/u>\u00e8s Varin<\/u> \u2013 The Board of Directors noted the card of appreciation.<\/p>\n

ADMINISTRATION REPORT<\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nMrs. Lafrance-Allaire\u2019s report included Hospital Services Accountability Agreement (HSAA) Attestation re Parking<\/em>, Flu Vaccination, update of Q2 Management Goals and Objectives 2020-2021<\/em>, Good News Item (Employee Service Awards celebration was held 21 October 2020) and Census Data (Decrease in Complex Continuing Care [CCC] admissions were discussed.). Other items discussed:<\/p>\n

The Board of Directors agreed that employees who have reached a 30-year milestone with the Centre or higher (in increments of 5) will receive a letter of recognition from the Board of Directors moving forward.<\/p>\n

ETHICS AND MISSION COMMITTEE<\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nSister Cuddihy\u2019s appointment to the Ethics and Mission Committee<\/u> \u2013 Sister Cuddihy was welcomed to the Ethics and Mission Committee.<\/p>\n

Public Relations and Branding Committee<\/u> \u2013 The Board of Directors recommend to the Members of the Corporation that branding and public relations become its own separate committee known as the Public Relations and Branding Committee and that the Bylaws be amended and include the new committee.<\/p>\n

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, FINANCE AND PERSONNEL RELATIONS COMMITTEE (CPFPRC)<\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nFinancial Statements<\/u> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the Financial Statements for the Period Ending September<\/em> 2020<\/em> as presented.<\/p>\n

Management Fiduciary Statement<\/u> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the Management Fiduciary Statement for September 2020<\/em>.<\/p>\n

NEW BUSINESS<\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nBoard Development \/ Governance Educational Opportunities<\/u> \u2013 Circulated to the Board for information.<\/p>\n

Miller Thomson is hosting a webinar, Governance Master Class: Advancing Diversity <\/em>and Inclusion<\/em>, on 12 November 2020. Board Members are encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n

OTHER BUSINESS<\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nStanding Item: Annual Workplan<\/u> \u2013 The workplan for the month of November was reviewed.<\/p>\n

The next regular Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, 01 December 2020 at noon via video conference due to COVID-19.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
