\nMrs. Lafrance-Allaire\u2019s report included: Remote Care Monitoring (RCM), Long-Term Care (LTC) Home Performance Report (report covers the period of 01 July 2019 \u2013 30 June 2020), COVID-19 Vaccination Rates at St. Joseph\u2019s Continuing Care Centre (SJCCC) \u2013 21 June 2021, Good News Items (donation from the family of the late Victor Kaneb) and Census Data. Also discussed:<\/p>\n

BPSA Attestation Forms A and C<\/u> \u2013 In accordance with the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act<\/em>, an Attestation Form <\/em>and supporting schedules must be filed with the Ministry. The Board of Directors approved \u201cAppendix C \u2013 Attestation (re Consultants) for 01 April 2020 to 31\u00a0March 2021\u201d and \u201cSchedule A to Attestation\u201d as presented.<\/p>\n

Hospital Service Accountability Agreement (HSAA) Article 8 \u2013 Form of Compliance Declaration<\/u> \u2013 Article 8 <\/em>re Form of Compliance Declaration<\/em> is an annual requirement under the HSAA<\/em>, an agreement with the Ministry. The Board of Directors approved the HSAA Article 8 \u2013 Form of Compliance Declaration<\/em> as presented.<\/p>\n

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE<\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nStanding Item: Annual Workplan<\/u> \u2013 Add Awareness of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). The Board of Directors approved the revised Executive Committee Annual Workplan.<\/em><\/p>\n

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT (QI) \/ SAFETY COMMITTEE<\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nDashboard and Graphs<\/u> \u2013 The COVID-19 pandemic has had a high impact on staffing and employees.<\/p>\n

Policy to Review<\/u> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the following policy as reviewed.<\/p>\n

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, FINANCE AND PERSONNEL RELATIONS COMMITTEE (CPFPRC<\/u><\/strong>)<\/strong><\/span>
\nFinancial Statements<\/u><\/em> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the Financial Statements for the Periods Ended 30 April 2021 <\/em>& 31 May 2021 <\/em>as presented.<\/p>\n

Management Fiduciary Statement<\/u><\/em> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the Management Fiduciary Statement for April and May 2021.<\/em><\/p>\n

Standing Item: CPFPRC Annual Workplan<\/u> \u2013 Add Awareness of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).<\/p>\n

Standing Item: Audit Committee Annual Workplan<\/u> \u2013 Add Awareness of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).<\/p>\n

The Board of Directors approved the revised CPFPRC Annual Workplan<\/em> and the revised Audit Committee Annual Workplan<\/em>.<\/p>\n

GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE<\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nBoard Vacancies<\/u> \u2013 It was suggested to look into the cost of advertising on the radio. It could be an option when the time comes to advertise for future vacant Board positions.<\/p>\n

A Board of Directors ad has been submitted to the Standard Freeholder and the Seaways News to recruit members for the two current Board vacancies.<\/p>\n

Standing Item: Annual Workplan<\/u> \u2013 Remove Diversity and Inclusion since it is repeated.
\nThe Board of Directors approved the revised Governance Annual Workplan<\/em>.<\/p>\n

PUBLIC RELATIONS AND BRANDING COMMITTEE<\/u><\/strong><\/span>
\nAnnual Workplan<\/u> \u2013 Add Awareness of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). The Board of Directors approved the revised Public relations and Branding Committee Annual Workplan<\/em>.

\nStanding Item: Annual Workplan<\/em><\/u> \u2013 The workplan for the month of June was reviewed.<\/p>\n
