Also discussed:<\/p>\n<p><u>BPSA Attestation Forms A and C<\/u> \u2013 In accordance with the <em>Broader Public Sector Accountability Act<\/em>, an <em>Attestation Form <\/em>and supporting schedules must be filed with the Ministry. The Board of Directors approved \u201cAppendix C \u2013 Attestation (re Consultants) for 01 April 2020 to 31\u00a0March 2021\u201d and \u201cSchedule A to Attestation\u201d as presented.<\/p>\n<p><u>Hospital Service Accountability Agreement (HSAA) Article 8 \u2013 Form of Compliance Declaration<\/u> \u2013<em> Article 8 <\/em>re <em>Form of Compliance Declaration<\/em> is an annual requirement under the <em>HSAA<\/em>, an agreement with the Ministry. The Board of Directors approved the <em>HSAA Article 8 \u2013 Form of Compliance Declaration<\/em> as presented.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #1e6496;\"><strong><u>EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE<\/u><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<u>Standing Item: Annual Workplan<\/u> \u2013 Add Awareness of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). The Board of Directors approved the revised <em>Executive Committee Annual Workplan.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #1e6496;\"><strong><u>QUALITY IMPROVEMENT (QI) \/ SAFETY COMMITTEE<\/u><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<u>Dashboard and Graphs<\/u> \u2013 The COVID-19 pandemic has had a high impact on staffing and employees.<\/p>\n<p><u>Policy to Review<\/u> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the following policy as reviewed.<\/p>\n<p>-Board of Directors policy #2-a-20 re <em>Quality Improvement \/ Safety <\/em><br \/>\n<em>Committee<\/em><\/p>\n<p><u>Annual Workplan<\/u> \u2013 Add Awareness of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). The Board of Directors approved the revised <em>Quality Improvement \/ Safety Committee Annual Workplan<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #1e6496;\"><strong><u>COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, FINANCE AND PERSONNEL RELATIONS COMMITTEE (CPFPRC<\/u><\/strong><strong>)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<em><u>Financial Statements<\/u><\/em> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the <em>Financial Statements for the Periods Ended 30 April 2021 <\/em><em>&amp; 31 May 2021 <\/em>as presented.<\/p>\n<p><em><u>Management Fiduciary Statement<\/u><\/em> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the <em>Management Fiduciary Statement for April and May 2021.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><u>Standing Item: CPFPRC Annual Workplan<\/u> \u2013 Add Awareness of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).<\/p>\n<p><u>Standing Item: Audit Committee Annual Workplan<\/u> \u2013 Add Awareness of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).<\/p>\n<p>The Board of Directors approved the revised<em> CPFPRC Annual Workplan<\/em> and the revised <em>Audit Committee Annual Workplan<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #1e6496;\"><strong><u>GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE<\/u><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<u>Board Vacancies<\/u> \u2013 It was suggested to look into the cost of advertising on the radio. It could be an option when the time comes to advertise for future vacant Board positions.<\/p>\n<p>A Board of Directors ad has been submitted to the Standard Freeholder and the Seaways News to recruit members for the two current Board vacancies.<\/p>\n<p><u>Standing Item: Annual Workplan<\/u> \u2013 Remove Diversity and Inclusion since it is repeated.<br \/>\nThe Board of Directors approved the revised <em>Governance Annual Workplan<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #1e6496;\"><strong><u>PUBLIC RELATIONS AND BRANDING COMMITTEE<\/u><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<u>Annual Workplan<\/u> \u2013 Add Awareness of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). The Board of Directors approved the revised <em>Public relations and Branding Committee Annual Workplan<\/em>.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #1e6496;\"><strong><u><br \/>\nOTHER BUSINESS<\/u><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<u>Standing Item: <em>Annual Workplan<\/em><\/u> \u2013 The workplan for the month of June was reviewed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<span style=\"color: #1e6496;\"><strong><em>The next regular Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, 07 September 2021 at noon via video conference due to COVID-19.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>REPORT FROM THE BOARD The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors was held on 29 June 2021.
