{"id":2741,"date":"2021-09-24T11:28:34","date_gmt":"2021-09-24T15:28:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sjccc.ca\/sjeng\/?p=2741"},"modified":"2021-09-24T11:28:34","modified_gmt":"2021-09-24T15:28:34","slug":"summary-of-the-september-2021-board-of-directors-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sjccc.ca\/sjeng\/?p=2741","title":{"rendered":"Summary of the September 2021 Board of Directors Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #15629e;\"><strong><u>REPORT FROM THE BOARD<\/u><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nThe regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors was held on 07 September 2021.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #15629e;\"><strong><u>ADMINISTRATION REPORT<\/u><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nMrs. Lafrance-Allaire\u2019s report included: Management Goals and Objectives 2021-2022 Q1, Remote Care Monitoring, COVID-19 Vaccination Rates @ SJCCC as of 02 September 2021, Good News Items (donation) and Census Data (waiting list\/in crisis list continue to grow).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #15629e;\"><strong><u>COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, FINANCE AND PERSONNEL RELATIONS COMMITTEE (CPFPRC)<\/u><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<u>Financial Statements<\/u> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the <em>Financial Statements for the Period Ended 31 July<\/em><em> 2021<\/em> as presented.<\/p>\n<p><u>Management Fiduciary Statement<\/u> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the <em>Management Fiduciary Statement for July 2021<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #15629e;\"><strong><u>AUXILIARY REPORT<\/u><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nAuxiliary Members are returning to the Centre. Orientation will be provided to all new and returning Auxiliary members. Renovations are underway in the Gift Shop. The Auxiliary members are looking forward to serving visitors, staff and residents.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #15629e;\"><strong><u>PROFESSIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE<\/u><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<u>Workplan for May<\/u> \u2013 Add \u201cawareness of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI)\u201d. The Board of Directors approved the revised <em>Professional Advisory Committee Annual Workplan<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #15629e;\"><strong><u>NEW BUSINESS<\/u><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<u>Board of Directors Policies to Review<\/u> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved Board of Directors policy #2-a-2 re <em>Board of Directors <\/em>as revised and Board of Directors policy #2-a-3 re <em>Directors\u2019 \/ Board Committee Members\u2019 Code of Conduct<\/em> as revised with one additional change.<\/p>\n<p><u>Letter of Resignation<\/u> \u2013 The Board of Directors accepted the letter of resignation of Mr. Robertson.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #15629e;\"><strong><u>OTHER BUSINESS<\/u><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<u>Standing Item: Annual Workplan<\/u> \u2013 The Board of Directors revised the workplan to read \u201cthe Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Long-Term Care\u201d instead of \u201cthe Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The Board of Directors approved the revised <em>Board of Directors Annual Workplan<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<span style=\"color: #15629e;\"><strong><em>The next regular Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for Thursday, 07 October 2021 at noon via video conference due to COVID-19.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>REPORT FROM THE BOARD The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors was held on 07 September 2021.
