\nThe regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors was held on 01 March 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

CORRESPONDENCE<\/b><\/span>
\nThank you Card – Retirement Flowers<\/span> – The Board of Directors noted the card of appreciation for Ms. Trudy Rivieres\u2019 retirement gift.<\/span><\/p>\n

ADMINISTRATION REPORT<\/b><\/span>
\nMrs. Lafrance-Allaire\u2019s report included: AdvantAge Ontario – Advocacy Bill 124, COVID-19 Pandemic Response, Strategic Planning Session, Lights of Hope Campaign (message from the members of the RSHJ Fund), <\/span>Long-Term Care Service Accountability Agreement (L-SAA) Schedule E re Form of Declaration of Compliance<\/span><\/i> (approved and signed), <\/span>Service Accountability Agreements (SAAs) \u2013 Extension <\/span><\/i>(<\/span>LSAA and HSAA Extending Letters approved<\/span>)<\/span> and Census Data. Also discussed:<\/span><\/p>\n

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE<\/b><\/span>
\nDementia Care Study<\/span> – The Executive Committee accepted that SJCCC proceed with the Dementia Care Study conducted by Redeemer University.<\/span><\/p>\n

ETHICS AND MISSION COMMITTEE<\/b><\/span>
\nChamplain Care Health Ethics – Ethics Symposium<\/span> – Ethics Symposium coming up in April. Registration is now open.<\/span><\/p>\n

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, FINANCE AND PERSONNEL RELATIONS COMMITTEE (CPFPRC<\/b>)<\/b><\/span>
\nFinancial Statements<\/span><\/i> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the <\/span>Financial Statements for the Period Ended 31 January 2022 <\/span><\/i>as presented.<\/span><\/p>\n

Audit Planning Report<\/span><\/i> \u2013 Accepted for information purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Management Fiduciary Statement<\/span><\/i> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the <\/span>Management Fiduciary Statement for January 2022.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

PROFESSIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE<\/b><\/span>
\nMr. Desnoyers welcomed Dr. Menard to her first Board meeting. Dr. Menard introduced herself.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Physician Reapplications 2022<\/span> – Dr. M. Reen\u2019s Medical Staff reapplication has been reviewed by the PAC and was recommended for approval.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Board of Directors approved the reappointment of Dr. Reen to the Medical Staff for 2022 with the privileges previously held.<\/span><\/p>\n

NEW BUSINESS<\/b><\/span>
\nFuture Board Meetings<\/span> – Discussion was had regarding <\/span>how to resume in-person board meetings safely. Different options were discussed including hybrid board meetings. The Board agreed that it is still too soon to resume in-person meetings. This item will be revisited at a later date.<\/span><\/p>\n

OTHER BUSINESS<\/b><\/span>
\nStanding Item: <\/span>Annual Workplan<\/span><\/i> \u2013<\/span> The workplan for the month of March was reviewed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Standing Item: Policies to be Reviewed by the Board of Directors<\/span> \u2013 Reviewed. The column \u201cDate Last Approved\u201d must be updated. Mrs. Robertson will make the necessary changes.<\/span><\/p>\n
