REPORT FROM THE BOARD<\/b><\/span>
\nThe regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors was held on 05 April 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

ADMINISTRATION REPORT<\/b><\/span>
\nMrs. Lafrance-Allaire\u2019s report included: 21 Questions-HIROC, Strategic Planning Session (date of the session to be determined), Good News (RHSJ 125 Years 1897-2022) and Census Data. Also discussed:<\/span>
\n
\nCOVID-19 Pandemic Response<\/span><\/span> – Even though the Ministry of LTC and the Ministry of Health have lifted the requirements for proof of vaccination against COVID-19 for staff, support workers, volunteers and visitors in Long-term care homes. St. Joseph\u2019s Continuing Care Centre (SJCCC) continues to enforce its vaccination policy which requires all staff, support workers, volunteers and visitors to show proof of the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine (two doses).<\/span><\/p>\n

Miscellaneous Policy Approval<\/span><\/span>
\n-Corporate Policy #3-a-21 re <\/span>Research Proposals<\/span><\/i> –<\/span>DEFERRED.<\/b><\/p>\n

\nDashboards and Graphs<\/span><\/span> – Metrics discussed, continued ongoing staff education emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, FINANCE AND PERSONNEL RELATIONS COMMITTEE (CPFPRC<\/b>)<\/b><\/span>
\nFinancial Statements<\/span><\/i><\/span> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the <\/span>Financial Statements for the Period Ended 28 February 2022 <\/span><\/i>as presented.<\/span><\/p>\n

Management Fiduciary Statement<\/span><\/i><\/span> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the <\/span>Management Fiduciary Statement for February 2022.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

PROFESSIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE<\/b><\/span>
\nPreventable Emergency Department Visits QIP Indicator Results<\/span><\/span> – St. Joseph\u2019s Villa is doing well according to the <\/span>Long-Term Care QIP Potentially Avoidable ED Visits Indicator<\/span><\/i> chart.<\/span><\/p>\n

GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE<\/b><\/span>
\nPolicy to review<\/span><\/span> \u2013<\/span> Board of Directors policy #2-a-25 re <\/span>Governance Committee <\/span><\/i>was approved as presented.<\/span><\/p>\n
