\nMembership Response re Annual Meeting Recommendations<\/span><\/span> – APPROVED (verbal).<\/span><\/p>\n

ADMINISTRATION REPORT<\/b><\/span>
\nMrs. Lafrance-Allaire\u2019s report included:<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>
\nManagement Goals Year 2022-2023<\/span><\/span> – Managements Goals Year 2022-2023 (Q1) were prepared by the Leadership Team and reviewed by the Board of Directors. Additional goals will be added after the Strategic Planning Session.<\/span><\/p>\n

Strategic Planning Session – Reminder<\/span><\/span> – The Strategic Planning Session will take place 22 September 2022 at the Best Western Parkway Inn & Conference Centre.<\/span><\/p>\n

Good News: HDH Program – Thank you<\/span><\/span> – Thank you letter from a former patient at HDH.<\/span><\/p>\n

Policy Deferred<\/span><\/span>

\nAppointment of Auditors 2022-2023<\/span><\/span> – KPMG\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Statements<\/span><\/i><\/span> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the <\/span>Financial Statements for the Periods Ended 30 June and 31 July 2022 <\/span><\/i>as presented.<\/span><\/p>\n

Management Fiduciary Statement<\/span><\/i><\/span> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the <\/span>Management Fiduciary Statement for June and July 2022.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

The Finance Committee had the chance to meet Mr. Dominic Bonucchi-Bilow, the new HR Generalist. The committee is looking forward to seeing how this role will develop.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

BOARDEFFECT ORIENTATION<\/b><\/span>
\nMs. Amy Scheiderman, BoardEffect Implementation Specialist, presented the BoardEffect software to the Board Members. Board Members were taught how to navigate through the system. The session was recorded. Mrs. Robertson will be sending the account information to all the Board Members to give them access to their BoardEffect account.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ETHICS AND MISSION COMMITTEE<\/b><\/span>
\nIt was requested that Ms. Katie Payette, <\/span>Wellness and Spiritual Health Coordinator, sit on the Ethics and Mission Committee. This will be brought forward at the next Governance Committee meeting to review.<\/span><\/p>\n

AUXILIARY REPORT<\/b><\/span>
\nThe Auxiliary Woods Gift shop is now closed. Items that did not sell have been donated to the Cornwall Community Hospital gift shop. There are four boxes of HELPP lottery tickets left. The Auxiliary is looking to see how to handle the sale of the rest of the tickets. The decision is pending. RSHJ 125 year Anniversary hoodies have been received for the Auxiliary Members. A social tea event will be held for the Auxiliary Members in the upcoming months.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PROFESSIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE<\/b><\/span>
\nPhysician Reapplications 2022<\/span><\/span> – A Medical Staff reapplication has been reviewed by the PAC and was recommended for approval. The Board of Directors approved the reappointment of the following physician to the Medical Staff for 2022 with the privileges previously held:\u00a0 Dr. Martial <\/span>Yitemben Tchouatieu<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nStanding Item: <\/span>Annual Workplan<\/span><\/i><\/span> \u2013<\/span> The workplan for the month of September was reviewed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Standing Item: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)<\/span><\/span> – The Senior Team is participating in a DEI <\/span>training session on 09 September 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
