REPORT FROM THE BOARD<\/b><\/span>
\nThe regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors was held on 04 April 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

CORPORATE LIAISON\u2019S REPORT<\/b><\/span> – Sister Cuddihy shared that Sister Rose-Marie Dufault who was one of Catholic Health International\u2019s founders passed away on 22 March 2023. She will be kept in our thoughts and prayers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ADMINISTRATION REPORT<\/b><\/span>
\nMrs. Lafrance-Allaire\u2019s report included: Expanding Rehabilitation Spaces – New Construction of <\/span>
\nTherapy Room (The construction fundraising campaign \u201cStronger Together\u201d has been <\/span>
\nlaunched), Good News Item (AMPLIFI) and Census Data. Also discussed:<\/span><\/p>\n

New COVID-19 Measures of LTC Homes<\/span> – 31 March 2023<\/span> – Effective March 31, the Ministry of LTC has announced new COVID-19 measures for LTC homes. At St. Joseph\u2019s Continuing Care Centre, there is no longer Asymptomatic Screen Testing (Rapid Antigen Testing) and Electronic screening at the front entrance. Only passive screening is required upon entry. Families continue to visit in the rooms only. The Prevention and Containment Funding Program has ended.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Risk Management Review 2022-2023<\/span><\/span> –<\/span> The Board of Directors reviewed the <\/span>Risk Management Plan 2022-2023<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In order to increase the number of volunteers at the Centre, it was suggested publishing<\/span> in the church bulletins diocese that testing is no longer required at SJCCC.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Board of Directors approved the following policies as reviewed.<\/span><\/p>\n
