\nIn this card, family members thank the Board of Directors for the flowers sent to the funeral of Ms. Rachelle Lamond, an Auxilian and devoted volunteer with HDH and then SJCCC.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ADMINISTRATION REPORT<\/b><\/span>
\nMrs. Lafrance-Allaire\u2019s report included: CAO for the City of Cornwall visits SJCCC, Management<\/span>
\nGoals – Update Q2, Ministry of LTC Inspection Report, Good News Item (SJCCC\u2019s front <\/span>
\nentrance has now been re-opened) and Census Data. Also discussed:<\/span><\/p>\n

Policy Approval<\/span><\/span>
\nThe Board of Directors approved Corporate Policy #3-a-25 re <\/span>Resuscitative Intervention for<\/span><\/i>
\nCare at End of Life as reviewed.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

ETHICS AND MISSION COMMITTEE<\/b><\/span>
\nIn the palliative care report, it is noted that Palliative Care Rooms on Complex Continuing Care (CCC) are being prioritized for patients receiving palliative care rather than rehabilitation when possible.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A question was raised regarding palliative care rooms and how often it happens that CCC is full and the palliative care rooms are being used by rehabilitation patients. It was explained that the surge season is 01 October 2023 to 31 March 2023. CCC has a high turnover rate, often 2-3 admissions\/discharges per week. Thankfully, this allows us to transfer patients to different rooms if a palliative patient would be admitted.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, FINANCE AND PERSONNEL RELATIONS COMMITTEE (CPFPRC)<\/b><\/span>
\nFinancial Statements<\/span><\/i><\/span> – The Board of Directors approved the <\/span>Financial Statements for the Period Ending 30 September 2023 <\/span><\/i>as presented.<\/span><\/p>\n
