REPORT FROM THE BOARD<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors was held on 24 June 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

ADMINISTRATION REPORT<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. Lafrance-Allaire\u2019s report included:<\/span> Ministry of LTC Inspection Report, CARF Canada <\/span>Accreditation; Hospital Board to be informed and Hospital Board to Report to Funder, Good <\/span>News Item (the Auxiliary Bishop Yvan Mathieu of Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall blessed and\u00a0<\/span>shared kind words of our new rehabilitation space during the open house on 06 June 2024) and\u00a0<\/span>Census Data. Also discussed:<\/span><\/p>\n

Policy Approval<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Board of Directors approved Corporate policy #3-a-50 re <\/span>French Language Services<\/span><\/i> as\u00a0<\/span>revised.<\/span><\/p>\n

HSAA Article 8 \u2013 Form of Compliance Declaration<\/span><\/span> \u2013 HSAA Article 8 – Declaration of Compliance <\/span>form is an annual requirement under the HSAA, an agreement with the Ministry.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Board of Directors approved the signature for HSAA Article 8 \u2013 Declaration of Compliance\u00a0<\/span>form.<\/span><\/p>\n

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, FINANCE AND PERSONNEL RELATIONS COMMITTEE (CPFPRC)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Statements<\/span><\/i><\/span> – The Board of Directors approved the <\/span>Financial Statements for the Period of April and May 2024\u00a0 <\/span><\/i>as presented.<\/span><\/p>\n

Management Fiduciary Statements <\/span><\/i><\/span>– The Board of Directors approved the <\/span>Management Fiduciary Statements for April and May 2024.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Board Vacancies<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 – <\/span>There are 2 vacant positions on the Board of Directors that need to be filled. Resumes have been received and the interview process will commence.<\/span><\/p>\n

Executive Committee recommendation<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Board of Directors recommends to Catholic Health International that Dennis Richer <\/span>be nominated as Chairperson of the CPFPR Committee on the Executive Committee.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Board of Directors appointed Lynn Theriault as Chief Nursing Executive.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
