The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors was held on 04 March 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

ADMINISTRATION REPORT<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Ms. Lafrance\u2019s report included: Ministry of Long-Term Care (MOLTC) Proactive Compliance Inspection\u00a0<\/span>(PCI), the Ministry of LTC Inspection Report, and Good News Item (St. Joseph\u2019s Care Foundation\u00a0<\/span>raised $31,298 for their Lights of Hope Campaign) and Census Data. Service Accountability\u00a0<\/span>Agreements (SAAs) \u2013 Extension (LSAA and HSAA Extending Letters approved), Also discussed:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Policy Approval<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Board of Directors approved Policy #2-a-4 re. <\/span>Board of Directors Conflict of\u00a0<\/span><\/i>Interest Disclosure <\/span><\/i>as revised.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, FINANCE AND PERSONNEL RELATIONS COMMITTEE <\/b>(CPFPRC)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Statements<\/span><\/i><\/span> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the Financial Statements for the Periods <\/span><\/i> Ending January 2025 as presented.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Request for Proposal (RFP) Auditing Services – Draft<\/span><\/i><\/span> – The Board approved the request for Proposal\u00a0<\/span>Auditing Services.<\/span><\/p>\n

Management Fiduciary Statements<\/span><\/i><\/span> – The Board of Directors approved the Management Fiduciary <\/span> Statements for January 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

PROFESSIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE (PAC) REPORT<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Physician reapplication 2025<\/span><\/span> –\u00a0 Dr. D. Read\u2019s Medical Staff reapplication has been reviewed by the PAC <\/span> and was recommended to the Board for approval. <\/span>The Board of Directors approved the reappointment of Dr. Read to the Medical Staff for 2025 with the <\/span> privileges previously held.<\/span><\/p>\n

GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Administrative Bylaws of RHSJ\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Board of Directors reviewed and sent a final revision for the approval of the Administrative Bylaws <\/span> of the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph of Cornwall, Ontario.<\/span><\/p>\n

FISCAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE<\/span>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Final Draft Budget<\/span><\/span> – The Fiscal Advisory Committee met and reviewed the final budget for Hotel Dieu <\/span> Hospital and was approved as presented.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PUBLIC RELATIONS AND BRANDING COMMITTEE<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Policy Approval<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span> – The Board of Directors approved Introduction and Organization policy #1-a-145 re. <\/span>Cultural Competency: Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity Workplan\u00a0 <\/span><\/i>as revised.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Reaffirmation of EDI Commitment<\/span><\/span> – SJCCC continues to stand by and reaffirms the commitment to EDI.<\/span><\/p>\n

OTHER BUSINESS<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
