The regular meeting of the Board of Directors was held on 07 October 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Strategic Planning Session<\/span><\/span> – The Strategic planning session was held on 03 October 2025. Discussions <\/span>generated good ideas, with productive input from both the Board and the Leadership team. <\/span><\/p>\n

ADMINISTRATION REPORT<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Ms. Lafrance\u2019s report included: Strategic Direction: Expanding Senior Housing & Integrated Campus of Care – Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) Application, Ministry of Long-Term Care Report and Good News Item (The Annual Service Awards ceremony was held September 17, 2025 and honoured 18 staff members and 5 retirees) and Census Data. Also discussed:<\/span><\/p>\n

-Corporate Policy #3-a-69 re <\/span>Privacy Inquiries and Complaints<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

-Corporate Policy #3-a-70 re <\/span>Privacy Policy<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

-Corporate Policy #3-a-71 re <\/span>Lock Box Policy<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

-Corporate Policy #3-a-75 re <\/span>Resident\/Patient Record: Access to and Release of <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT \/ SAFETY COMMITTEE<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Annual workplan updated<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 – <\/span>The annual workplan was revised to include the Critical Incident Analysis on a quarterly basis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, FINANCE AND PERSONNEL RELATIONS COMMITTEE <\/b><\/span>(CPFPRC)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Statements<\/span><\/i><\/span> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the Financial Statements for the Period <\/span><\/i> Ending August 2025 as presented.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Management Fiduciary Statements<\/span><\/i><\/span> – The Board of Directors approved the Management Fiduciary <\/span> Statement for August 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

PROFESSIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE (PAC) REPORT<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ontario College of Pharmacists Inspection<\/span>\u00a0 – <\/span>The Ontario College of Pharmacists conducted an on-site audit at Hotel Dieu Hospital on October 2, 2025. <\/span>The audit was successful, with no findings identified.<\/p>\n

GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Change to Board Committees<\/span> –\u00a0<\/span>The Board of Directors have appointed<\/span> Rayanne Gazdar to the Comprehensive Planning, Finance and <\/span> Personnel Relations Committee and will no longer serve on the Quality Improvement \/ Safety <\/span> Committee.<\/span><\/p>\n

NEW BUSINESS<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Advocacy Letter<\/span><\/span> –\u00a0<\/span>A letter will be sent to Mr. Nolan Quinn, Member of Provincial Parliament of Stormont, Dundas and <\/span> South Glengarry in regards to specific sections of Bill 14.<\/span><\/p>\n

Standing Item: <\/span>Annual Workplan<\/span><\/i><\/span> – The workplan for the month of October was reviewed.<\/span><\/p>\n
