The regular meeting of the Board of Directors was held on 02 December 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

CORRESPONDENCE<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

ADMINISTRATION REPORT<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Ms. Lafrance\u2019s report included: The Strategic Plan for the three-year period 2025-28, Hospital Parking Directive, SJCCC Evacuation Exercise and Ministry of Long-Term Care Report, Memorial Service and Good News Item (Wellness classes such as pilates and yoga are offered to SJCCC staff) and Census Data. Also discussed:<\/span><\/p>\n

Strategic Plan 2025-2028<\/span><\/span> – The Board approved the Strategic Plan for 2025-2028.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hospital Parking Directive<\/span><\/span> – The Board of Directors accepted the Hospital Attestation of Compliance\u00a0<\/span>with Hospital Parking Directive re 01 September 2024 – 31 August 2025 as presented.<\/span><\/p>\n

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT \/ SAFETY COMMITTEE<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Policy to Review\/Revise<\/span><\/span> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the Board of Directors policy #2-a-20 re. <\/span>Quality Improvement \/ Safety Committee<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Patient\/Resident-to-staff appreciation program<\/span><\/span> – The Board approved the launch of a new recognition initiative designed to allow patients and residents to formally acknowledge staff members for excellence in care.<\/span><\/p>\n

Quality Improvement and Safety Committee Workplan<\/span><\/span> – A few additional changes were made to the Quality Improvement and Safety Committee workplan and approved by the Board of Directors.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, FINANCE AND PERSONNEL RELATIONS COMMITTEE <\/b><\/span>(CPFPRC)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Statements<\/span><\/i><\/span> \u2013 The Board of Directors approved the Financial Statements for the Period <\/span><\/i> Ending October 2025 as presented.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Management Fiduciary Statements<\/span><\/i><\/span> – The Board of Directors approved the Management Fiduciary <\/span> Statement for October 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

Policy to Review<\/span><\/span> – The Board of Directors approved the Board of Directors policy 2-a-10 re. <\/span> Comprehensive Planning, Finance and Personnel Relations Committee<\/span><\/i> as revised.<\/span><\/p>\n

CPFPRC and Audit Committee Workplans<\/span><\/span>\u00a0– The Board has approved the updated workplans <\/span> for the CPFPRC and the Audit Committee workplans.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PROFESSIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE (PAC) REPORT<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Automated Dispensing Medication Cabinets<\/span> <\/span>\u00a0–\u00a0<\/span>The Centre has received new Automated Dispensing Medication Cabinets (ADMCs). The system <\/span> will enhance medication security, improve narcotic accountability, and mitigate organizational risk <\/span> through detailed tracking.<\/span><\/p>\n

PUBLIC RELATIONS AND BRANDING COMMITTEE<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Equity Statement<\/span> <\/span>-The Board approved an official Equity Statement affirming the organization\u2019s <\/span> commitment to fairness, respect, and inclusion. This statement serves as a framework for guiding <\/span> workplace culture and professional behavior.<\/span><\/p>\n

OTHER BUSINESS<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
