At SJCCC, palliative care is available to patients who require additional support as they approach the end of life. Our physicians, nurse practitioners, and staff provide compassionate, patient-centered care that supports the mind, body, and spirit, while also addressing the needs of loved ones.

Our dedicated multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to deliver respectful and supportive care tailored to each individual. The team is committed to meeting the emotional, spiritual, and unique needs of every patient, ensuring dignity, comfort, and peace throughout their care journey.

The palliative care program focuses on pain and symptom management, alongside emotional and spiritual support. Care is delivered by a multidisciplinary team that may include pastoral care, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, pharmacy, dietary services, physiotherapy, social work, and recreation programs—working together to provide comfort, care, and hope to those we serve.
