St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre (www.sjccc.ca) requires an Occupational Therapist who will be responsible for conducting assessments, formulating goals and recommendations, planning and implementing client centered, goal-directed treatment programs for residents /patients requiring Occupational Therapy services who are admitted to the Centre. The Occupational Therapist is involved in the education of residents, family members, healthcare workers and the general public with regards to occupational therapy and the management of the resident’s health problems and needs. The occupational therapist will be expected to work closely with rehabilitation therapy assistants and must be able to integrate assistant services in the delegation and delivery their goals and treatment plan. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the ongoing development of the Occupational Therapy Programs specific to the needs of the Centre.

- B.Sc or Masters in Occupational Therapy from an accredited Canadian Occupational Therapy Program
- Licensed with the Ontario College of Occupational Therapy
- ADP authorized for wheelchair, seating and mobility devices or a willingness to become authorized would be an asset.
- Good work and disciplinary record.
- Fluency in both official languages is required
Rate of Pay: As per collective agreement.
Hours of Work: Average Hours per Week 37.5, Temporary Full-Time
